Following complaints from students concerning problems from the portal when they tried registering their courses for the session, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja has decided to extend the deadline for the course registration.
For close to four years, the university portal had been plagued with different problems stemming from poor management, indecision to frequent changes in the website. Students have noticed that with each new academic session comes a new portal, and each portal comes with its strengths and weaknesses. So far, the major problems have been poor user interface, payment problems, poor data management among others.
It is expected that with the emergence of new policies concerning the portal, there will be improvement on it.
