Hangover's Medley

Rays of sunlight give life to wide halls
Reflected through crystal glass
Bounced off glossy tabletops

A toddler giggles with excitement
A gentleman taps his cane for quiet
A woman screams bloody murder

Eyes flutter open, straining to see
An unclad bust heaves for air
Stumbling feet give strength to a cold body

The crowd watches with alarm
Questions are asked and met with stony silence
She stares unashamed at a terrified nun
And walks off into the busy street.
